Thank you to some folks who have helped my campaign get off the ground by their generous donations of time and talent:
Jimmy Flannigan, owner of Site Street, for his personal donation of time and the monthly fee for hosting this web site
Jonn Cherico, designer extraordinaire, for all my logos and the "look" of the website
Ric Sternberg, owner of AiM Productions. Ric produced my videos on education and tolls as a volunteer project, and I deeply appreciate it!
Mark Anthony Cruz, talented guitarist and music arranger, for allowing me to use his music on my CD and DVD "slide shows."
Mark Hastings, my husband and computer guru
Lettie, our daughter, for her excitement every time she sees a Kathi Thomas sign.
My sister, Marilynn Thomas, who told me that she wishes she could vote- she is mildly mentally retarded, but we're going to look into it and see if it is legal for her to vote, and if so, she says she wants to vote for the very first time for me. What higher honor could I have? Marilynn loves to attend gatherings and hand out literature for the campaign, she loves people, and is one of my best volunteers.
Chuck King, campaign worker/manager- maker of databases and great "Dems to doors" walk lists
John Reiser, who stepped in as my campaign manager when Chuck's work schedule just got to be too much for him to manage his job and my campaign. I appreciate John's vast knowledge and his mentoring of me.
John Courage & Zada True-Courage- John & Zada have mentored me from my first days of this campaign, sharing sources and information. They've made this a much easier process, in that I haven't had to re-invent the wheel every time I needed to find something.
My friends and neighbors, especially Lynn Osler & Marvin Williams, Barbara Stroud & Bob O'Boyle and Chuck & Tracy Lemmond, for believing in me, for encouraging me, and for being some of my strongest supporters.
My church family- the encouragement I've received from church friends has sustained me throughout this process. From our wonderful office staff who have stepped in to announce at the Thursday Noonday Concerts when I've had to be gone to all the members who sport Kathi Thomas bumper stickers, even if they don't live in SD 25, because they understand how important it is for my name just to be "out there" and seen.
County Chairs of SD 25- Tony Bazan has done miracles in Guadalupe County, John Weir has an active chapter even more active, Alice Oliver-Parrot has a very active chapter in Comal County (building on the great work of Larry Horton), Gloria Whitehead continues to have a great county organization in Hays, Chris Elliott in Travis continues to have the best coordinated campaign in the state, and Carla Vela is pulling yeoman's work getting Bexar back together and functioning as a unit. You are all invaluable and I really appreciate you!
